Hi Cindy,
Not sure if you remember us, but you helped us install our Britax convertible car seats last September in our Hyundai and Infiniti. We live in Westchester and have a 9-month old baby girl named Olivia.
Anyway, we were in a car accident on Sunday leaving Palm Springs. A car ran a red light and hit us as we were going through the intersection. Both front airbags deployed where my husband and I were sitting. Immediately we checked on Olivia and she was completely fine and safe. Fireman said that her seat was in the perfect spot where it should always be, centered & rear facing.
Tim and I were relieved and thankful that we had you over to make sure we installed both seats properly. Best money we ever spent!

"We can not say enough wonderful things about Cindy Crothers and Kidz Seatz. Her knowledge and patience are remarkable as is her passion for what she does. Cindy installed our car seat (and base in 2nd car) and took the time to make sure we both knew exactly how to handle every aspect of the seat. We practiced with it several times (with a doll) before our daughter was born so we would know just how to get her strapped in – and are we sure glad we did. It was because of Cindy’s instructions that we knew how to set up our baby girl in her car seat on the way home from the hospital. Our daughter was all strapped in and comfortable in her car seat as we proceeded home from the hospital. The nightmare that people fear most actually happened to us --- we were rear-ended on the way home from the hospital!! However, because of Cindy’s meticulous installation and instruction on how to secure the baby, not only did the car seat not budge but our baby girl slept during the accident. Everyone was fine but we certainly had some rattled nerves. We can not stress how important it is to take the time to make sure your child is safely secured in his or her car seat; and if you have the slightest concern whether the seat is secure, call Cindy to save the day… and to save lives. "I was sitting in a line of traffic when I was rear-ended, so hard it pushed me into the car in front of me. My daughter, 8 months old, was in her rear-facing car seat, which was installed by Cindy Crothers of KidzSeatz. My little girl cried out at each impact (rear and front) so I know she felt it, and when I looked back her seat was cockeyed to the left. After the paramedics looked at her and determined she was not injured, I asked the paramedic to help me 'fix' the car seat. When he looked at it he seemed a bit surprised and said "Wow, this seat is still really secure." He helped me straighten the seat out and said its normal for the seat itself to get jostled in such an impact, but since it was securely installed there was little he needed to do. My daughter is a bit sore from the sudden impact, but other than that she is fine. I have no doubt in my mind that the car seat, and its proper installation, saved my baby's life, because if the impact could have jostled the seat on such a securely installed seat, I don't want to imagine what would have happened had she not been in a seat or not in one that was installed correctly. Thank you Cindy - you saved her life!"
